MedicLINK Systems and Eyesistant

MedicLINK was born in 2003, when founder Jonathan Brett was hired by a family friend to create a practice management software for his optometry practice. The resulting software, OPAR, had a unique combination of functionality and ease of use that the optometrist had been unable to find elsewhere. Realizing the potential of the software he developed, Jonathan began working out of his parents basement selling OPAR across Canada.

Five years and three generations of software later, OPAR has evolved into Eyesistant. During that time our focus has shifted from optometrists to opticians, from Canada to North America and from Jonathan's parents basement to a Victorian style office in downtown St. John's. Along the way we've received numerous awards and accolades while pursuing our goal to make Eyesistant the most successful optician software in North America.
