Security

When multiple staff members have access to your application, you may want to assign security access privileges for specific functions. My Vision Express offers different levels of security access or security groups that you can assign to users. You can define the security access based on security groups. Security allows you to customize the application to your needs. You can easily hide the functions that you do not use.

Security features:

• Secure login with User ID and Password
• Every access to patient record is tracked with date, time, and user name
• Automatic application log off after specified idle time
• Assign security access privileges for specific My Vision Express functions
• Ability to Enable, Disable or Hide features (e.g. you can disable access to reports to certain users or the person who adds the demographic information may or may not have access to the patient prescriptions)
• Define custom security rights for each security group access level
• Unlimited levels of security access or security groups that you can assign to users
• Uses the robust, built-in security of the Microsoft SQL Server database engine
• Prescriptions and Image scans can be locked with date and time stamped on them so they can no longer be modified or deleted
• Data entered is stamped by the system with date, time, operator, device, and the security levels in the system control access to sensitive data. Audit reports are available
• Encryption/hash tool to encode confidential information and verify its integrity.
